Class Time

Today, I used my class time to catch up on some things I didn't previously add to my blog. I will start to so some research on the questions I want to answer and try to get the answer and not just interpretations. I have to find good site to work with. I used Wikipedia for the definitions but it didn't have any other information that I really needed and/or wanted. But I plan to find some sites from real production company's and see how they tackle a project in production and maybe even look at their particular production history and how they got started.

Some Questions

Some of these questions could be considered FAQ's but these are also questions I would like to answer for myself for my Graduation Project.

Video Production
1.) What is Video Production?
2.) How do you start a Video Production?
3.) How do you edit a Video Production?
4.) What materials do you need to make a Video Production?

Script
1.) What is a script?
2.) What are the parts of a script?
3.) How do you write a script?
4.) How do you select a topic for a script?
5.) Do you have to make a video from a script?

Peer Pressure
1.) What is Teen Peer Pressure?
2.) What actions are considered Teen Peer Pressure?
3.) If a person doesn't do the action, is it still considered Peer Pressure?

These are some of the questions I want to answer before I start the researching my entire project and the writing of the script.

Main Project Focus

The main question that I'm trying to answer is What are some of the outcomes of Teen Peer Pressure/Abuse (good and bad)? And what can someone do about it?( Direct and Indirect)

Things I Have to Look Up

I have to start looking up what Teen Peer Pressure/Abuse actually is. Then I have to look up how I could further look into Video Production and try to fix some mistakes I will make and/or might make before I even start. Before I start with the "doing" of my project, I want to look up how to make the best possible choices for picking the best possible people for the cast. I have to make sure that the people who audition likes the play and if they have any ideas to make it better/more understandable, they can.

Possible Questions
1.) What is Teen Peer Pressure/Abuse?
2.) Am I picking the best people for the part?
3.) Do the people even like the play?
4.) Are there any suggestions the people have?
5.) What problems am I going to run into?

My Choice and Actions

I decided to do my project on Teen Peer Pressure/Abuse. I want to make a short film about how we can possibly stop Abuse and show how peer pressure can make you do some things you don't want to do.

My Actions
1.) Write a script about my topic.
2.) Revise script so it's perfect.
3.) Hold auditions for the parts.
4.) Hire the best actors.
5.) Start rehearsing script.
6.) Start filming the play.

I also want to do an interview with people who have done things that they are ashamed of and see how it changed their life and if they would go back and do the same or opposite of what they did. I want to have an interview with some people who are currently in the situation and people who might be in that type of situation and talk about what they might do.

Final Choices

I have decided to narrow down my Grad Project to something with Teen Peer Pressure/Abuse and to writing a short story and try to get it published. I am more focused on making a short film about Teen Peer Pressure/Abuse than writing a short story because making movies holds my interest more than just writing the story.
